Construction of Hoshino Resorts OMO7 Osaka Shin-Imamiya Starting June 1, 2019
Hoshino Resorts (CEO: Yoshiharu Hoshino) will begin construction for the new “Hoshino Resorts OMO7 Osaka Shin-Imamiya” facility currently under development in Osaka City on June 1st, 2019. This hotel, adjacent to the Shinsekai area that has preserved the abundant atmosphere and charm of Osaka throughout the years, is located next to the Shin-Imamiya station (Nankai Electric Railway and JR), easily accessible from Kansai International Airport. It will be developed as an urban sightseeing hotel for travelers exploring Osaka and the surrounding area to further enhance their stay.
“OMO” is the fourth Hoshino Resorts brand, following HOSHINOYA, RISONARE, and KAI. With the concept of “Get down with the local rhythm: exciting urban tourist hotel where there’s so much more to do than just sleep,” OMO7 Asahikawa was opened in April 2018, and OMO5 Tokyo Otsuka in May of the same year. OMO7 Osaka Shin-Imamiya will be the third facility in the OMO brand. Hoshino Resorts regards the development of the OMO brand in Osaka highly as the city is one of the most prominent metropolises in Asia that nurtures a unique culture and thus serves as an important base for the brand. Hoshino Resorts hopes that this hotel will offer a new destination in Shin-Imamiya for both domestic and foreign travelers.
