Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Nasu Opening November 1st, 2019

Hoshino Resorts (CEO: Yoshiharu Hoshino) announced the opening date of Japan’s first ever Agriturismo Resort, Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Nasu: November 1st, 2019. Bookings will start on July 1st at their official website (https://risonare.com/nasu/en/).

A new kind of vacation with “Agriturismo Resorts”

Based around providing experiences in local production and offering meals at the resort as well as a variety of activities, RISONARE Nasu has created a new kind of vacation with their combination of a resort hotel and Nasu’s unique charm. Centered around on-site facilities like the Agri-garden (a farm run by the hotel) and the activities facility POKO POKO, this is an Agriturismo Resort where visitors can fully enjoy nature surrounded by Nasu’s changing scenery throughout the seasons.

*Agriturismo: An Italian portmanteau made up of the words “agricoltura” and “turismo,” it is a style of tourism focused on escaping from the busyness of the city, and enjoying rural farming, nature, and cultural exchange. Said to have started in Europe, it is enjoyed around the world, mainly in Italy.

A total of 43 guest rooms surrounded by maintained natural forests

RISONARE Nasu is located at the foot of Mount Nasu, at an elevation of about 500m, with an area of approximately 140,000m2 . Spread out across this vast area are only 43 guest rooms. In the rooms surrounded by this carefully maintained natural forest, guests can feel close to nature, and the resort’s three areas (the main building area, and the annex divided into two areas) each have different sceneries and ways to spend time. The guest rooms are designed by Klein Dytham Architecture (KDa). The rooms’ theme is based on Nasu’s natural environment, and can be enjoyed by couples, groups, and families alike.
