Boost your immune system through self-care and moxibustion! Updating the details of KAI’s “Modern Hot Spring Healing” to fit the ‘with corona’ era.

  • KAI

“ABC’s of loosening tight muscles and moxibustion” is a new service that will be launched from 1 September 2020 at KAI properties, located all over Japan. Learn the ways of self-care and moxibustion from a qualified practitioner to boost your immune system. This service was created by the manager of SPA & Wellness division of Hoshino Resorts, Keiko Watanabe, and a licensed masseur staff with a national qualification of acupuncture and moxibustion. From examinations to customized self-care proposals, we have tailored the content to meet the needs of the ‘with corona’ era without physical contact. This service will be part of the one-night stay package at KAI properties, which helps busy, modern people to learn the benefits and ways of “Modern Hot Spring Healing.”
*Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese therapy where dried mugwort cone, moxa, is burnt on acupuncture points.
Background
Care after warming the body in the hot springs is highly effective in relaxing muscles, improving blood flow, and overall relaxation so at KAI, giving massages after a soak is included in the contents of “Modern Hot Spring Healing.” In addition to this, we have developed this service to meet the needs of customers who want to live a healthy life during the ‘with corona’ era through the inclusion and consideration of both ‘immunity improvement’ and ‘avoiding the 3Cs (close contact, confined spaces with poor ventilation and crowded places).’
