  • OMO

Hoshino Resorts, a hotel management company that operates over 40 properties within and outside of Japan, will open properties in Kyoto under the city tourism hotel brand, “Hoshino Resorts OMO.” Kyoto City is Japan’s most popular tourist destination and by the end of 2021, there will be 3 new properties with the following names “Hoshino Resorts OMO3 Kyoto Toji,” “Hoshino Resorts OMO5 Kyoto Sanjo,” and “Hoshino Resorts OMO5 Kyoto Gion.” We look forward to providing a place of accommodation where guests can enjoy the locale of Toji, Sanjo, and Gion. As a result of collaborating with the local community, a stay experience that can only be enjoyed at OMO will be available.
Kyoto City has a history of 1,200 years, since the founding of Heiankyo, and it is Japan’s most popular tourist destination in Japan, visited by more than 50 million tourists every year. The 3 properties opening in 2021 will dive deep into the individuality of each area, providing services that will allow guests a full experience of the city’s charms. Guests can have a choice between staying at one of the properties to experience one of the cities at depth or staying at all three properties for a full experience of Kyoto. We will strive to become a central hub for touring Kyoto.

Tour guide of the area through the Go-KINJO service
At OMO, we consider the entire city centered around the hotel to be a resort of its own and we want our guests to go out into the city instead of spending time inside the hotel. Go-KINJO is a service comprised of the Go-KINJO Map and Go-KINJO activity, and its aim is for guests to learn about the deep culture of nearby neighborhoods.
