Original show presented at the theater "Michinoku Matsuriya"
The theater reopened after renovations on April 1, 2022. Each night, the festival presents a show that expresses the feelings of the people of Aomori for the festival, enduring a long winter, rejoicing in the arrival of spring, and bursting with passion into the summer festival. The lively Hayashi (musical accompaniment) performed by the staff of Aomoriya and the dynamic float operation are the highlights. In addition to enjoying the four festivals at once - the Aomori Nebuta Festival, Hachinohe Sansha Taisai Festival, Goshogawara Tachi Neputa Festival, and Hirosaki Neputa Festival - you can experience the Nebuta spirit of the people of Aomori and the fervor of the festival with performances that highlight the characteristics of each festival.
